ANNUAL HAUNTED EXTRAVAGANZA IN ENOSBURG
EXTENDED TO TWO NIGHTS

(Enosburg Falls, Vermont) - Cover your eyes…Monsters on the prowl … Don't look now, but that witch is taking you on a tour of an operating room, a morgue and rooms full of coffins and of course the haunted maze. This tour and all kinds of events are part of this year's Annual Haunted Extravaganza in Enosburg Falls. "The response to last year's event was so extraordinary that we have extended it to 2 nights," say David Stetson, one of the events organizers.

Each year, students and members of the community in Enosburg get together to put on a full schedule of events centered around Halloween. This year is no different. Some of this year's events include: a Haunted House at the Spavin Cure Building on Main St. in Enosburg from 4-7 pm on Saturday, October 26th and 2:30-5:30pm on Sunday, October 27th. Tim Camisa and Mike Rooney are donating the Spavin Cure space. Parking for this event will be at the Enosburg Country Club.

Other events happening around the community include a Spooky Activity Room from 1 pm - 3 pm on Saturday at the Episcopal Church; a Haunted Barn at the Masonic Hall on Lincoln Park from 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm on Sunday; and Hay Rides from 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm on Saturday and from 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm on Sunday. This year refreshments will be sold on-site by Skinnies Food Cart and there will be live bands performing at the Spavin Cure.

There will also be a Pumpkin Glow on Lincoln Park on Main Street in Enosburg. Carved Pumpkins can be dropped off from 4:30 pm until 7 pm. The lighting of the jack-o-lanterns will happen at 7 pm. The Enosburg Elementary ACTIONS group sponsors this event.

This year, in an effort to cover expenses more effectively and still be able to have a significant portion of the proceeds go to the Enosburgh Fire Department and the Enosburgh Ambulance Service, the events organizers have made the decision to charge a small admission fee. The admission price for the Haunted House, Spooky Activity Room and the Haunted Barn will each be $1.00 for kids under 12 and $2.00 for 12 and older. "We have kept the admission price low so everyone that wants to can attend," says one of the event organizers Tatiana Pearson. "Not only are we able to provide some fun events in the community, but we are able to help out some of the very valuable programs we have here, as well.

Sponsorships and community donations guarantee that the largest portion of the proceeds goes directly to the fire and ambulance departments. Donations have already been received from the Sweet Pear Companies, TimKath Enterprises Productions, Green's Ace Hardware, Skinnies Food Cart, and Sticks and Stuff.

Come and enjoy the ghoulish evening of fun. We look forward to seeing you.
