FREE HAUNTED EXTRAVAGANZA
(Enosburg Falls,
Vermont) - Cover your eyes…Monsters
on the prowl … Don’t look now, but that witch is taking you on a tour of an
operating room, a Salem Witch Trial, rooms full of coffins and of course the
haunted maze. This tour and all kinds
of events are part of this year’s Free Haunted Extravaganza in Enosburg Falls.
Each year, students and
members of the community in Enosburg get together to put on a full day of
events centered around Halloween. This
year is no different. Some of this
year’s events include: a Haunted House
and Young Children's Play Center at the Spavin Cure Building on Main St. in
Enosburg from 4:30 to 7:30 on Saturday, Oct. 27th. Tim Camisa and Mike Rooney are donating the Spavin Cure
space. Parking for these two events
will be at the Enosburg Country Club.
Other events happening
around the community include a Story Time, a Pumpkin Glow and Tractor
Rides.
The Story Time will take
place at the Masonic Temple on Main St. sponsored by Success by Six. Featured will be Lynda Graham-Barber, Author
of “SAY BOO”. Time for this event is
6pm – 7pm.
The Pumpkin Glow will be
on Lincoln Park, Main Street in Enosburg.
Carved Pumpkins can be dropped off from 4:30 pm until 7pm. The lighting of the
jack-o-lanterns will happen at 7pm. The
Enosburg Elementary ACTIONS group sponsors this event.
Tractor Rides will run
from 4:30 – 7:30 with pick up and drop off at the Spavin Cure and the Masonic
Temple.
Though all of the events
are free, Donations are encouraged and accepted at the Haunted Spavin Cure
with the proceeds going to benefit the training and equipment programs of
the Enosburgh Fire
Department and Enosburgh
Ambulance Service. There will be
collection containers on the tour route.
“Not only are we able to provide some fun events for the community, but
we are able to help out some of the very valuable programs we have here, as
well.” says one of the event organizers Tatiana Pearson.
Sponsorships and community
donations guarantee that the donated proceeds go directly to the fire and
ambulance departments. Donations have
already been received from Sweet Pear Contracting and Restoration, TimKath
Enterprises Productions, Green’s Ace Hardware, Sticks and Stuff, Enosburgh
Recreation, and the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Burlington.
Come and enjoy the
ghoulish evening of fun. We look
forward to seeing you.
